Our 10 Tips for a Successful Sampling Campaign Sampling campaigns are a powerful way to…
Things are definitely picking up in the promotional staffing world!
We’ve experienced an increase in work for our promo staff which we all have welcomed with open arms.
Leafleting – both door to door and in town centres
As businesses across the country re-open, communication that they are back open to customers is vital. Most clients have tried to sell their products and services online during the pandemic, but some haven’t been able to, so leafleting is a great way of letting the locals know you are back open.
Keeping track on door to door. Promo staff use a map app that shows the route they have taken, so the client knows the leaflets have been delivered safely.
One of our clients even had the unusual idea of handing out leaflets with an offer on, outside a competitor’s establishment whilst “talking dirty” to the customers. It was surprisingly successful!
Acting jobs – from COVID advice videos to film festival video
A number of our clients have created videos on how the new normal needs to be in their establishments; from shops to cinemas. Our acting staff have played both customers and staff for both staff and customer videos.
We’ve supplied a few of our actors as part of a film festival promotional video, and actors trying out team building games for a new business. If you need to let staff know about the new normal before coming back to work post-furlough – we are happy to help.
Entertainment staff
Some businesses were due to open around the time of lockdown and have had to delay. We’ve been able to supply entertainment staff to stand outside the shops entertaining customers as they go by – check out our stilt walker who caused a stir in a town centre in Yorkshire!
Queue managing
We’ve all got used to the new normal – queuing. This is often something the Brits are teased about, but not anymore! We’ve had a number of promotional staff counting customers on iPads as they go in to shops, and also updating the queues to let people know how long before they get in to the shop.
Added to that, we frequently provide security for pubs to make sure that the rules are in place indoors.
PR stunts
Well, now is the time to do PR stunts! With everyone a little tired of reading about COVID-related news, stunts are getting lots of publicity as the press try to offer some light hearted relief. We’ve supplied a number of staff for different stunts in the last month, so get your PR hat on and start thinking about what you can do to promote your business – or your clients.
