The BBC Good Food Show

This popular show is back in its ‘Summer’ reincarnation at the NEC from 16th to 18th June. For over 30 years, BBC Good Food has been the home cook’s go to destination and with over 50 million users the bbcgoodfood.com website is the most popular food-based media brand in the UK. From the top selling glossy food magazine (print and digital), the extensive website with recipes, reviews and culinary inspiration to the largest annual food show and events, this brand covers it all.

What’s to See?

This popular show at the NEC is jam packed with your favourite celebrity chefs and culinary experts with the highlight being the famous ‘Big Kitchen’ stage (where you can watch them demonstrate and cook recipes live). This year’s line-up includes James Martin, Bake Off Champion Nadiya Hussain, Michel Roux and of course our Envisage office favourite Ainsley Harriott! These stars can also be found doing book signings and on the ‘Lets Talk Good Food’ Stage discussing their careers and taking audience Q and A’s.
In addition to the watching the experts there are also two tasting ‘theatres’ – The BBC Good Food Wine Club Tasting Theatre where Laithwaites Wine experts host five sessions a day covering ‘How To Taste Wine’, trying unusual grape varieties to how to pair wine with summer foods. The Fabulous Food Finds Tasting Theatre on the other hand is hosting cheese, condiment discovery sessions to expand your tastebuds!

Needless to say, you won’t go hungry or thirsty at the show! From the dedicated restaurants to numerous street food vendors selling food from all corners of the globe there’s guaranteed to be something for everyone. And of course, it doesn’t stop at the show… there is a dedicated shopping area where you can sample and buy delicious and innovative products from small, artisanal producers right to favourite big brands such as Abel & Cole, Heck and the official Parmesan brand Parmigiano Reggiano.
