Father Christmas home visit – Santa goes that extra mile!

Hiring Santa for a home visit is a magical experience at the best of times. Having Father Christmas visit after a hugely challenging 2020 is extra special.

One of our clients, Lesley from Cranfield, organised a Father Christmas street visit for her family and their neighbours for a home visit. An exciting time for everyone but Santa Alan had something special in mind for the street.

Father Christmas organises a sleigh as part of his street visit to surprise the neighbours.

With Covid-19 having a relentless grip on the nation over Christmas 2020 we had to work hard to ensure families could still enjoy a magical and safe visit from Father Christmas.

Our fabulous Father Christmas performers also worked very, very hard to make sure they could honour all their bookings. Zoom calls, home visits and street visits were all the rage in 2020. Santa Alan had another idea to springle extra Christmas magic when he visited Lesley and her neighbours.

Lesley hired Father Christmas to meet all the children and families in square on their street. She had arranged for all the families to stand on their doorsteps while Santa walked around the square waving and talking to the families from a safe distance.

Santa had been given all the children’s names before he arrived so he could make it personal for each family on the street.

What Lesley and the neighbours did not know is that Santa is a volunteer at the local district Lions club and he had arranged it so he arrived on the clubs magical sleigh.

This lovely gesture organised by Santa added to the experience for not only the children but the parents too. If having a professional Father Christmas performer come to their street wasn’t enough he turned up on a sleigh!

Lesley was overjoyed with the Father Christmas street visit that she had organised for everyone. Without the sleigh it was everything she wanted but with Santa surprising everyone with the sleigh it was a wonderfully magical experience.

We love getting positive feedback about our Santa’s, it is so important to us. It’s clearly as important to our Santa’s as Lesley and her neighbours can testify.
