Celebrating 14 Years of Excellence: Envisage Promotions As Envisage Promotions proudly celebrates its 14th anniversary,…
Why we chose Dogs Trust as our charitable cause!
We all love dogs in the Envisage Office, between us we have a German Sheppard, two Labradors a JRT and in March 2015 Kira a three year old Husky/Akita aka Huskita joined our family from the Kenilworth Rehoming Centre. Since then we have been thinking of ways we can help raise much needed funds for the Dogs Trust, we can only imaging the costs involved with the number of dogs they have at each rehoming centre. It’s not just the food and vets bills, its bedding, people hours, kennel maintenance, toys, lighting and heating.
With this in mind we have chosen the Dogs Trust as our charitable cause and we will continue our efforts to raise awareness and money for them. So far we have raised money by eating chocolate (and paying for the privilege), we have sponsored Bo From Bridgend and Lollipop from West London. Our ideas don’t stop there……watch this space as we will soon be announcing more ideas of how we are going to raise funds for the amazing work the Dogs Trust does.
You too can help, this could be by way of rehoming a dog or volunteering at your local rehoming centre – or if you are unable to do these you can help by sponsoring a dog, sending a donation to your local rehoming centre, naming the Dogs Trust in your Will, shopping at their online shop or maybe asking for donations to them rather than gifts for Birthdays, Christmas or Weddings! Or you can have a fundraising event – the list of ideas is endless!!
For those of you who are unaware of what the Dogs Trust does, they have 20 centres located across the UK and Ireland and they take in dogs to find them new homes. The dogs which arrive at the centres are from individuals who have found they are no longer able to look after them but they also work with local authorities.
