The Brief – Our client is a prestigious brand in the car washing industry. They offer a range of valeting services from basic outside cleaning through to full valet. They have nearly 300 sites across the UK which are linked to a Tesco or ASDA store. Customers benefit from getting to have their car cleaned whilst they shop.

Our staff are fired to give out flyers promoting the car washes when they open a new site or re-launch an existing one. The sole purpose of our staff is to make shoppers at Tesco aware that the car wash is open and ready.

Campaign Description – To provide knowledgeable promotional staff that are engaging, coherent, self-motivated and have the personality and confidence to approach the public. Staff are typically based in the foyer as customers arrived to get the highest level of footfalls.

The priority is firstly to hand out flyers to customers which contains all key details such as options, prices and opening times. We have also briefed the staff on the key selling points, so that when the customers have questions they can articulate as accurately as the full time Waves staff could.

We have worked regularly with this client at Tesco’s and ASDA stores since 2016 providing our team to all four UK nations as required.

A key requirement is for the staff to uphold the fantastic brand reputation built over the years. This includes are smart, professional appearance always and always maintain professional and friendly communications.

Results – We are expected to routinely drive more customers to the facility on the Tesco site. Uptake in services is expected on the day of the campaign with some customers heading over to the Waves area of the car Park before shopping. The uptake in business is also noticed in the weeks after with many Tesco customers using the service on their next shop or scheduled car clean day.

Such can be the success of the campaign, that we visit some sites annually as the local customers change to re-engage new customers.  Our client offers a brilliant service which keeps customers coming back for the value and convenience.
