Why Hiring Security for Your New Year’s Eve Event Is Essential New Year’s Eve is…
An unprecedented time for families and businesses
Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic here in the UK business owners are trying to navigate these uncertain waters to keep their business afloat. It is a challenge which we never imagined we would have to face.
Many businesses have closed their main office and have followed the governments advice and arranged for their staff to work from home. This means that the main office of the business is more vulnerable than usual without the daily occupancy from all the staff.
It’s clear we all have a lot on our mind and there are lots of things to sort out but we encourage business owners to keep the security of their office high up on the ‘to do’ list. If possible, why not visit the office to check things over, pick up your post and just have a look around to make sure the security precautions you have in place are still operational?
Check your alarm, check windows, close and lock (if possible) all internal doors. Any high value items maybe hide them away or take them home?
Security personnel to guard your business premises
If you are still concerned about the security of your business then maybe it’s worth considering what else you could do to protect it, even just in the short term?
Having reliable and motivated static and mobile guards could be an option for you? Envisage security guards are experienced at patrolling and protecting premises and stay alert to risks that the rest of us would simply not notice. Just having that highly visible deterrent can be enough to deter any unwanted activity. Should there be an attempt to carry out criminal activity at your premises then the guards will pick this up and take the necessary action to stop it quickly.
Priority – maintaining the 2-metre rule
There are lots of key workers still working and doing an amazing job. We have had lots of enquiries recently to supply security staff and marshals to help workers maintain the 2-metre rule. This was a new one for us, but we understand the importance of managing this professionally and politely.
Sometimes people just forget and find themselves congregating around the smoking area or the coffee machine and just a polite reminder from our marshals is enough to get them separated and moved on. These certainly are strange and testing times but if we all look out for each other and follow the rules we will get through it and be stronger on the other side.
Stay Safe!
