Coronavirus Update

How can our staff help your event go ahead?

Hire extra Envisage staff to make your event is safe; such as cleaners for high traffic areas, hygiene advisors, hospitality and registration staff who can double up as hand sanitiser dispensers, toilet attendants and leafleters to hand out simple NHS advice as people are entering.

What are the symptoms?

• a cough
• a high temperature
• shortness of breath

• Put used tissues in the bin immediately
• Wash your hands with soap and water often – use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
• Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell

DON’T
• Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean
Will my event go ahead?
Following the government statement on 3rd March 2020, the threat level has increased from low to moderate, but are at a containment stage.
All event centres are stating that events are still going ahead, but with precautions in place.

These include the below:
• Making sure hand sanitisers are available at events and in bathrooms
• Tissues
• Information leaflets on keeping delegates/clients safe.
How can Envisage help?
• Use our cleaning staff for high traffic areas at your event.  They can clean stair handles on a regular basis with hand sanitisers, or surfaces that are used regularly at an event.
• Hygiene advisors – why not have Envisage staff on the entrance doors – handing out tissues and hand sanitiser gel; putting people at ease as they enter?  If you advertise these people beforehand, it may encourage nervous attendees to come to your event, putting them at ease.
• Multi-tasking hospitality and registrations staff – when welcoming people to your event, they can hand out hand sanitisers and tissues to delegates or clients.
• Marshalling – marshals not only can manage people, but also direct people to toilets, hand sanitisers, and give out advice – they are often seen as a figure of authority – so use them!
• Leafleters – if you want to give people simple advice at your event, use our leafleters to hand out leaflets with NHS advice on them.
Just remember, wash your hands whilst singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY – the time it takes to finish the song is the amount of time you should be washing your hands!
