What virtual events happened in 2020?
Amongst the Covid-19 pandemic Contemporary Art Fairs reached out to us as they normally do indoor art fairs asking if we could provide a “virtual performer“. We provided a presenter over a two-day period to help host their virtual online events. They welcome over 50 artists which include, photographers, printmakers, sculptors, and ceramicists. We have many different virtual performers on our database that range from comedians, singers to costume performers and magicians.
Are virtual events going to be a thing in 2021?
Virtual events are going to be the new “norm” in the events industry. Many professionals believe they will be part of events when we start living our normal lives.
Many people ask what is a hybrid event? Hybrid events will be around for a while. Travel restrictions make it almost impossible for international events to take place, but offering a virtual element means everyone that wants to attend can be there. A combination of the two, known as a hybrid event, offers exhibitors and visitors the best value possible in unprecedented times, it also allows a larger number of visitors than normal per exhibition as there will be virtual visitors on a large screen. Using social media to promote your online events can be very influential as you can tag various speakers and sponsors to increase your event awareness.
What was the result of the virtual event?
The public response was amazing, and it was stated that our presenter was professional and enthusiastic throughout the whole event.
