National Apprenticeship Week – Part 2
Following on from part 1 of our series about National Apprenticeship Week, below you will find details about a number of staff who have been through the apprenticeship scheme and Elliss who is currently completing his Apprenticeship in Business Administration.
Our very first apprentice Bradley Jack, is now Head of Operations and hugely responsible for the day to day activity and running of the business.
“In my late teens I was unsure what career path to go in, and in general what I wanted to do in life. After a short time browsing for careers, it became apparent that you need a stepping stone between leaving education and starting a ‘serious job’. The apprenticeship scheme allowed me to join a growing business whilst learning & earning on the job. Since progressing into a position that now requires me to recruit apprentices, I can see it from the employees’ point of view. You can invest a modest amount of money to take on an enthusiastic young person who is looking for career progression and has an eager want to learn and better themselves. I would passionately recommend an apprenticeship to recruiters and people looking to start a career. ” – Bradley Jack
In 2019 George Kelly was promoted to Manager for our Bookings Team, he is responsible for four Bookings Executives.
“At the young age of 17, I joined Envisage to start my Business Administration Level 3 and loved using my experiences within my working day to help me progress through my apprenticeship and complete my workbooks & modules at a high standard. The knowledge I also gained through the apprenticeship was so beneficial to my working day, learning excel, business processes, organisation structures, leadership skills are just a few examples of how I have developed through my apprenticeship. I loved the experience and style of working during this apprenticeship and I hope more people can benefit from this style of learning.” – George Kelly
Our current apprentice is Elliss. He started with Envisage in October 2018 and is one of our Bookings Executives. From the start he has impressed us with his enthusiasm, willingness to learn and positive attitude. During his apprenticeship Elliss has shown us that he has the desire to learn and grow within the business. He has no fear and will tackle his workload efficiently. He can liaise not only with the staff he is booking, but also with colleagues and our clients with confidence. He is a great ambassador for Intec, Envisage and also apprentices. We look forward to seeing him complete his apprenticeship in March this year.
